MASIFA UNITED CLAIMS MAIDEN TROPHY OF CROWN FC UNDER 15 TOURNEY

Crown Football Club Academy on Friday 11th November , 2022 concluded her maiden edition of the Scouting Tournament at the  Outside Pitch of Soun Township Stadium, Ogbomoso, where Masifa United Fc triumphed over Taara Rovers Fc 2:1 at regulation time to claim the coveted trophy . 

12 Teams participated in the tournament. The Clubs are  Emirate FC,Taraa Rovers ,Crystal FA,IresaApa FC,Glory FC ,Igbon FC ,MasifaUnited ,Nana Rivers ,Romeo FC,Future Stars FC ,West Ham United FC 

and Net shooters FC. 

Earlier before the final kickoff, Future Stars Fc thrashed Igbon Fc 3:0 in the third-place encounter to emerged the second runner-up.

The Proprietor Ogbomoso United Football Club,  Hon. Akinwale Akinwole WOLEKANLE who was accompanied by Hon. Adijat Aremu Oritooke, the Chairperson of Ogbomoso Central LCDA, Hon. Sayo Alagbe, Performed the kickoff- off ceremony for the final encounter. 

Akinyode Taiwo of Masifa United Fc went home with a Soccer Boot as the Best Player of the tournament, the price given by Hon. Wolekanle . 

The Maiden Edition’s Trophy was donated by the Agbaakin Of Ogbomosoland Chief Sunday Dare, The Honourable Minister For Youths and Sports with cash donations for the first , Second and third place respectively. 

The participating teams were drawn from Ogbomoso and its environs to step up the tide of grassroots football through discovery of raw talents in advancing the cause of professional football in the State.
