Crown FC Drawn Home Against Gateway United, Kick-off Season Opener 18th March

Today in Abuja, the organising body of the most important league in the country NNL held the draw of 2022/2023 Nigeria National League at their Secretariat where Crown Football Club of Ogbomoso has been drawn home against Gateway United in their season opener.

Before now, the Nigeria National League body has released the regional groupings of the Northern and Southern Conferences where the Ajilete Warriors also drawn alongside Joy Cometh Fc, Gateway United Fc, Smart City Fc, Ijebu United Fc and Sporting Lagos Fc in the Group B2 of Southern Conference.

Shortly after the draw, the Chief Operating Officer of the Nigeria National League (NNL) Mr. Emmanuel Adesanya in a circular sent, humbly to inform that following the scheduled commencement of Nigeria National League 2022/2023 league season, and the successful conduct of the official draw, the opening match of the season shall be played on 4th March, 2023 between Fc One Rocket Vs Warri Wolves Fc at the Eket Township Stadium.

Meanwhile, the remaining week-one matches shall commence from the 18th March, 2023.

This is to allow players and officials to perform their civic responsibilities by casting their votes on the 11th March, 2023.
