WE NEED A DEFINED FOOTBALL ECOSYSTEM AT THE GRASSROOTS ~ BAYO LANLEGE

In continuation of his working visits to all the local football councils in the state, The Chairman, Ekiti State Football Association, Bayo Olanlege tasked stakeholders in the state to create a defined grassroots football management structure in the state.
Olanlege harped on this while on working visits to Ekiti East and Ikole Local Football Councils on Thursday. He noted that it is imperative that all components in the Local Football Councils must be identified and their duties and tasks clearly stated as this will ensure that proper structures are in place at the grassroots because it is key for talents discovery and development.
"We need to do proper football business and have the right working structures if we must enjoy the dividends of football"
He further urged that all the local football councils take the end of the year football competition tagged "Unity Cup" seriously so as to have a successful competition and it must be an annual competition as planned.
" I will beg us all to make the Unity Cup a yearly tradition so that we can always have a successful end of the year competition across the state because during yuletide season people come home to our towns and villages, we must put something together to engage our youth positively and create an activity they would always look forward to yearly"
