NNL22-MW3: CROWN FC HELD FC ONE ROCKET TO A STALEMATE IN UYO.

Crown Football Club of Ogbomoso were on Friday 25th February, 2022 held FC One Rocket of Abat, Akwa Ibom State to a 1-1 draw in the match week three (3) game of the 2021/2022 Nigeria National League (NNL) at Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

The Ajilete Warriors took the lead twenty (20) minutes into the game when Dennis Meshack calmly place the ball into the net to scored his third goal of the season from Crown Fc midfielder Clement Johnson square play.

The host afterward, rose up to the occasion as they put all their strength in search of goal till thirty-seventh minutes when the Indomitables mercurial left-footed winger Abel Abbah went against the traditional swinging in a cross from the right wing, having been awarded a free-kick . He gave a pass to their left fullback, Pascal Onunze who had repositioned from his traditional wing. Pascal calmly controlled the pass, looked up and brilliantly curled the ball above the Ajilete Warriors defence line and out of the diving reach of Crown Fc goalkeeper Belema Mamadu into the left top corner of the net for a goal. The first half ended with the two sides scoring a goal apiece.

Multiple changes we're effected  by the two sides in the second half with both teams resuming proceedings on the same play-ground. As the second half began, both sides continued with the aggression but the home team became more ambitious.

With few minutes to the end of the match at 89th minutes, a penalty awarded to the home team FC One Rocket after a simulation from Abel Abbah inside the danger zone of Crown Fc. Abel Abbah stepped out for the kick but his kick were saved by Crown Fc saves hand Belema Mamadu for a corner against the Ajilete Warriors.

The Ajilete Warriors still maintain their unbeaten run after pulling two away draws, the first being a goalless with Nnewi United Fc, Oba, Anambra State and a 2-1 win over Warri Wolves in Ogbomoso.

Crown Fc has picked up Five (5) points from three (3) matches.
